POSITIVE DOG OBEDIENCE AND SOCIALIZATION  - 2013

 

6 SATURDAYS

March 9 - April 20  (may skip 3/30)

Dog training is easier than most people think - if you know what to do and how to do it.  Learn positive, fun, and effective techniques for:

 

  • Come, Sit, Off, Down, Stay, Stand, and Heel.
  • Not pulling on leash.
  • Greeting other dogs calmly and without barking or lunging.
  • Greeting people calmly and without barking or jumping.
  • Not chasing cats and squirrels.
  • Recognizing and transforming your dog's fear, anxiety, or over dominance.
  • Recognizing and avoiding other dogs' aggression or over dominance.
  • Building your dog's confidence.
  • Understanding how your dog thinks.
  • Becoming a positive leader for your dog!

 

You'll learn a lot - and this class will be an enjoyable bonding activity for you and your dog.  You'll both be wagging your tails!

 

Dogs must be at least 3 months old and current on vaccinations.  Bring a copy (that Martia can keep) of your dog's vaccination record to the first class.  Multiple members of a family or household are welcome to attend.

DOG DANCING  (CANINE FREESTYLE DANCE)

A small, private class is forming.  Call Martia to get info or join.

It's the new craze: dancing with your dog to music!  Easy, fun & bonding.  Learn Twirl, Weave, "Dog Trot" and more!  (Dog is on all fours, & you do not have to be a good dancer.)  Dogs over 3 months old and up to date on vaccinations. For full class description click here.
